Now Hiring: Compensation & Benefits Specialists

Summary:  We are in search of a Compensation & Benefits Specialist in Apaseo el grande, Gto., Mexico to follow and innovate current compensation and benefits policies, guidelines and procedures.

 

Duties:

  • Follow and determine compensation guidelines for Hourly and Salaried personnel
  • Look for innovative ways to apply compensation
  • Determine guidelines as needed, and document procedures
  • Align with local and corporate guidelines
  • Participate in different salary and benefits surveys, and able to interpret analysis
  • Salary surveys use and knowledge. Salary structure design. Job description valuation
  • Develops techniques for compiling, preparing and presenting data
  • Use various methods and techniques and make data based decisions
  • Study market for benefits plans to be developed and implemented (voluntary benefits, retirement)
  • Talent and performance process review
  • Managing performance evaluation programs
  • Development programs for Salary and Hourly personnel
  • Company plan, schedule, events
  • Union activities related follow up support
  • Very strong analytical skills 90% of the time, creative to overpass difficult situations, under a very fast-paced environment
  • Responsible for very sensitive and confidential activities, always following policies and procedures, and complying with local law and corporate guidelines
  • Scope is company wise, as based on analysis made, Management bases decision. Key analysis, and findings are relevant for decision makers, within the company and with Corporate stakeholders. Depending on the process, the impact is for every 6 months or every year
  • Constant relationship with all levels within the company, and HR corporate stakeholders: from peers (during performance review) to President (during strategies reviews)
  • Able to adapt to a fast-paced environment
  • Able to be creative when developing new strategies
  • Able to benchmark for new strategies or update existing ones
  • Analyze base in data facts, and develop documents to sustain
  • Training will be done on the job, attending vendor meetings, and occasionally seminars

 

Education & Experience:

  • B.A. (Licenciatura) Major(s): Industrial engineer, Administration or Accounting
  • Required:
    • 3 years of experience in Compensation, Benefits policies, developing or applying policies. Advanced analytical skills (critical eye, strong with numbers, detail oriented)
    • Confidentiality profile (Strong ethics and discretion)
    • Proficient in MS Office (word, outlook, PowerPoint)
    • Highly proficient in Excel (pivot tables, macros)

  • Overtime – 30 %
  • Travel – 10 %
  • Comp time offered for over time
